ID: CC4016

A specimen of two half's, one as a pseudomorph after Azurite crystals, the other as unaltered Azurite. The replaced Azurite crystals display the classic mottled green Malachite with radial satiny luster measuring to 1.2cm. On the unaltered side the sharply formed Azurite crystals are a fine deep royal blue colour measuring to 1.1cm, a band at the interface shows  partial replacement Azurite by Malachite. Both formed on a matrix of Cerussite and Smithsonite. Classic Tsumeb Mine Azurite replacement by Malachite.
