Malachite With Conichalcite

ID: CC4504

Excellently developed bubbly botryoidal Malachite richly invests a cavity with yellow-green Conichalcite, from the Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. Botryoides of rich green Malachite possess a lustrous velvet surface. Conichalcite crystal druse under magnification is seen as radial inter grown groups of micro-prismatic habit. The matrix is a red-brown Goethite with areas of shattered white Quartz. A fine Malachite from the mine.
