An excellent display of Malacite with Cuprite on Chrysocolla from the Mashamba West Mine, D.R. Congo. A rich green composite of intergrown rounded Malachite is seen on the specimen, measuring to 4.7cm, with velvety lustre. Sharply developed crystals of inter grown octahedral Cuprite measuring to 1.3cm on edge, having great lustre and deep maroon red colour. Crystals of Cuprite predate the deposition of the Malchite, both minerals grown on a cover of pale turquoise Chrysocolla, on Limestone matrix. A fine combination of three copper species so characteristic from the mine.
