Manganoan Calcite

ID: CC4822

Excellent lustrous pink Manganoan Calcite from the Broken Hill Mines, Australia. The Manganoan Calcite on this specimen displays essentially two growth habits. As a pyramid of inter-grown stepped translucent form terminated crystals, and as a botryoidal to curious worm-like structure. A neat combination of crystal habits from the orebody.
