A lustrous salmon pink specimen of the uncommon Manganoan Smithsonite from the classic Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. The sharply formed crystals form acute rhombic crystals measuring to over 1cm on edge. They cluster in an intergrown ribbon along the edge of the specimen. The crystals are gemmy to translucent, pleasingly set against the deep grey mixture of Sulphides with Dolomite matrix. A fine specimen of a not-so-common variety of Smithsonite.
