Marcasite With Muscovite

A large specimen of Marcasite with Muscovite mica, and minor Arsenopyrite. The Marcasite occurs as sharp wedge shaped crystals to 1.2cm, growing in parallel 'cockcomb' groups to 2.7cm. The Marcasite also occurs in botryoidal clusters of crystals. Minor silvery Arsenopyrite occurs as lustrous sharply formed crystals. Light brown micaceous Muscovite is largely restricted to the back of the specimen.
