A very rich example of fibro-laminar Mendipite from the classic location of Merehead Quarry, Somerset, England. The Mendipite has a white to light pink colouration and measures 10.4 by 4.5cm, up to 1.5cm thick. The Mendipite is associated with minor white Cerussite and translucent white Calcite, veined by black Mn oxides. A relatively large area of Mendipite from Merehead Quarry.
