An abundantly rich example of Mendipite from the classic location of Merehead Quarry, Somerset, England. The Mendipite has an high satiny luster, with a pink to white colouration. The Mendipite is associated with translucent Calcite, grey in appearance from veins of black Mn oxides. A rich specimen of Mendipite from Merehead Quarry collected in the 1970's by Tony House.
