A very rich example of laminar Mendipite from the classic location of Merehead Quarry, Somerset, England. The Mendipite has a high satin luster across the specimen, with a pink to white colouration. The Mendipite is associated with translucent Calcite, which appears grey from veins of black Mn oxides. A rich large area of Mendipite from Merehead Quarry collected in the 1970's by Tony House.
