A centrally positioned vein of orange coloured and translucent Mereheadite, with Calcite and Manganese Oxide. The vein of Mereheadite measures to 1.5cm wide  and is associated with Mendipite. The specimen displays the nature of the mineralisation of these rare oxy-chloride minerals, in Manganese-rich pods. Type locality for Mereheadite - rare!
