A vein of orange coloured Mereheadite with Calcite in botryoidal Manganese Oxide matrix. The vein of Mereheadite runs through to the rear of the specimen and is associated with minor Mendipite. The specimen displays the nature of the mineralisation of this rare oxy-chloride mineral, in Manganese-rich pods. Type locality for Mereheadite - rare!
