A quality rare specimen of the Silver Antimony sulfosalt Miargyrite on Proustite from the Abendrothe Mine, St. Andreasberg mining area in Germany. Miagyrite has formed parallel habit spiky-three faced micro-crystal of dark metallic grey colour, display an epitaxial configuration about prismatic deep red crystals of Proustite. The overall group of crystals measuring to 1.6cm x 1cm x 1cm, formed in a Calcite crystal cavity. Further scattered areas on the specimen also have micro-crystals of Miargyrite and rare crystals of a metallic grey micro platy mineral. An old handwritten label dated 1868 indicates that the specimen came from the Abendrothe Mine. A rare species and rare specimen from the mine.
