Mimetite Var. Campylite

Stout hexagonal crystals of Mimetite to 6mm are mostly clustered around a central cavity on the specimen. The well formed crystals are yellowish green, and range through to orange. An unusual habit for the location - Mimetite is usually of the barrel form from this world renowned locality. Some of the crystals are slightly curved, but have flat basal pinacoid terminations. Bright lustre!
