A fine micro specimen from the 1970's of Nasonite with Datolite from Merehead Quarry, Somerset, England. The Nasonite forms a rich blue area in a crust of white Datolite on Goethite. The chocolate brown Goethite has a lustrous radial structure. Nasonite is a rare Lead Calcium sorosilicate Chloride only found at very few locations around the world. (Sorosilicates belong to a class where two tetrahedra share an oxygen atom).
