Nasonite

ID: CC4364

A raer specimen from the Torr Works Quarry, Somerset, and a rare world species. The specimen from the No1 Vein was first noted from the quarry in the early 1970's, along with several other rare species. The specimen we have displays two areas of glassy blue radial hemispheres of Nasonite measuring to 2mm, embedded in creamy white radial Datolite, on a matrix of radial brown Geothite. One for the rare British mineral collector.
