Native Copper

ID: CC2755

A stunning specimen of Native Copper from the now well known location at the Rubtsovskoe Mine, near to the Kazakhstan-Russia border. The mine is working a polymetallic deposit associated with volcanic rocks on the edge of the Siberian Shield. The specimen we have from the mine displays a fantastic thickly branching form. Branches of Native Copper are composed of superb some what elongated intergrown crystals. The Native Copper has excellent metallic copper red colour, a very appealing specimen.
