Native Copper and Smithsonite

ID: CC1499

A crystalline Native Copper and Smithsonite specimen from the 1929 Vaux expedition to the Southwestern African area. The Smithsonite is very sparkly forming a lovely contrast to the intergrown crystalline Native Copper. The Copper has a good patina, forming botryoidal spheres to 5mm in branch like crystal laden aggregates. Nice example of Copper from Tsumeb which is accompanied by old labels.
