A rare intriguing specimen of a cut section of a mine wood prop. Found in the ancient Mavrovouni Mine, Cyprus. The age of the timber is dated at c2500 years, placing it in Greek era. The specimen we have to offer of Native Copper replacing Wood. Shows speckles of bright Native Copper richly dispersed through the annular growth rings of the wood, with a diameter of 6cm. A rare specimen from Cyprus
