A pleasing bright specimen of Native Copper with Cuprite from the small West Wheal Jewel copper mine. (believed to have been last worked in the mid-1850s). A specimen displaying excellent areas of Native Copper crystals, and sparkling deep maroon red of Cuprite. The crystals of Cuprite measuring to around 1-2mm, associated with shards of grey slatey killas. A somewhat rare specimen from a mine closed over 150 years ago.
