A very rare Native Gold specimen from the old Austrian gold mining area of Hainzenberg. Yellow metallic Native Gold is mostly seen at one end of the specimen, as a micro-lace like network over an area measuring to 2cm x 0.9cm. Native Gold is also to be seen on other parts of the Quartz and metallic grey sulphide banded matrix.
