A natural specimen of Native lead from the classic Swedish location of Langban, a prolific location for mineral species. The specimen of Native Lead forms a some what convex sheet with a curious mushroom like formation at one end. Partly coated on both sides by white probably Hydrocerussite, scattered areas of Calcite, an undefined vitreous black mineral. A pleasing specimen of Native Lead from the location, and comes with a Academy of Natural Sciences, Philadelphia label.
