An excellent wire specimen of Native Silver from the famous Uchucchacua Mine, Peru. The Native Silver wire measures to 6cm long, with other wires measuring to 1cm. Displayed to advantage the Native Silver wires have a light pinkish silver patine to them. A matrix of vitreous black Mn-Fe oxides with pink tinted Calcite hosts the wires of Native Silver. A great specimen of silver from the mine.
