Crystals of Native Silver are seen formed on an egg shaped mass of Native Copper (commonly called Halfbreed specimens), from the copper mining area of Houghton Co, Michigan, USA. Inter grown crystal clusters of Native Silver measure to 2.6cm, metallic silver to grey-black in colour. Bright metallic coppery red Native Copper forms the base on which the Native Silver has developed. A classic combination specimen from the area.
