Olivenite, a Cornish classic from Wheal Unity, a very old mine near St. Day, probably at work in the early-mid 18th century. Crystals of dark olive green Olivenite forms a rich druse of sparkling crystals. Areas on the specimen show the Olivenite to have a radial structure over grown green 'Cornwallite/Pseudomalachite', on a Quartz-Fe oxide matrix. A fine Olivenite from Wheal Unity.
