A fine rich specimen of deep dark olive green Olivenite on Quartz from Wheal Gorland, Cornwall's most celebrated old copper mine. An abundant covering of crystallized botryoidal Olivenite measuring to 6cm x 3.4cm, formed over colourless to white prismatic crystals of Quartz, with white to pastel green tinted Kaolinite. A great specimen of Olivenite from the mine, many specimens of this caliber were found pre-1800.
