Olivenite With Azurite

ID: CC2867

Slender rich olive green crystals of Olivenite are associated with royal blue Azurite, from the Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. Crystals of Olivenite form as clusters of sub-parallel tight bundles with acicular habit, and a silky luster. Apple green areas of probable Bayldonite are associated with the Olivenite, on Quartz crystals, in a grey sulphide, reddish Goethite matrix.
