Olivenite With Pseudomalachite

ID: CC2235

A rich specimen of Olivenite from Wheal Phoenix. The Olivenite forms lustrous dark green to dark yellow-green composite crystals to 0.9cm (very large for the location). Many of the crystal terminations have a thin zone of lighter green.  The Olivenite forms aggregated and scattered crystals in a vuggy white Quartz and deep crimson red Fe oxide matrix, with minor areas of green Pseudomalachite.
