A very rare combination specimen of three rare Oxyhalides with Plattnerite enclosed in a Cerussite-Calcite-Mn-oxide bounded pod. The specimen is from the Tony House collection and was collected in the 1970s. Micro-red areas of Parkinsonite are dispersed through the fibrous off-white Mendipite. An area on one part of the specimen measuring to around 5 by 2mm displays a cavity lined with bright vitreous black micro-crystals of Plattinerite, with royal to light blue platy micro-crystals of Diaboleite. To add further to this assemblage of rare species are micro areas of olive green Chloroxiphite, and discreet black bladed Crednerite. A terrific specimen of many rare species from this classic location.
