A well formed cubic 5mm crystal of lustrous red-brown Perovskite sits nestled in an intergrown aggregate of Magnetite crystals, from the Rocca Castellaccio area in Lombardy, Italy. To one side of the specimen is a further crystal of Perovskite with a more oblong habit measuring to 3mm. A cavity on the end of the specimen also has a part formed crystal of Perovskite, all the Magnetite and Perovskite crystals are formed on a Chloritic Schist-like matrix.
