Lustrous honey coloured Powellite crystals are the feature of this specimen from the western edge of the famed Deccan Traps basalts in India. The largest Powellite measures to 2cm, in typical dipyramidal form. They are highlighted against the accompanying Apophyllites, small Stilbite blades to 0.5cm and drusy white microcrystals of Quartz all on basalt. A very attractive specimen, with a lustrous translucent Powellite.
