A location fast becoming a classic area for Scottish Prehnite specimens, the Loanhead Quarry which has been closed for several years. The specimen we have is a characteristic translucent lustrous yellow-green, with botryoidal dome-like form. A fine Prehnite from this once major Scottish collecting location.
