Prehnite on Chabazite

ID: CC1809

A neat example of Prehnite on Chabazite from Takat, Morocco. The main feature of this specimen is the near complete radial wheel of Prehnite to 2.9cm diameter, with other rounded Prehnite crystals in attendance. The colour of the Prehnite is from translucent white to very light yellow. The central area of the Prehnite has a near silky luster on the radiating crystals, the termination are very lustrous. The Prehnite sits on sharp intergrown rhombic crystals of Chabazite to 1.2cm on edge. The Chabazite coordinates prettily with a translucent to opaque light orange colouration. Attractive!
