A superb specimen of the rare Silver sulfosalt Proustite from a mine that is producing some excellent Silver species, namely the Imiter Mine, Morocco. Specimens from this mine are destined to become mineralogical classics. The specimen of Proustite we have displays a number of inter-grown crystal clusters measuring to 2cm. The colour is pristine ruby red with excellent lustre to the crystal faces. We seldom see such a fine specimen from any location. Crystals of Proustite are also dotted over several areas of a metallic grey Acanthite matrix.
