A classic specimen of Pseudomalachite from the Rheinbreitbach area of Germany. The specimen displays a cavity richly lined with deep green intergrown round crystal groups of Pseudomalachite, measuring to 1.8cm. The cavity is lined with a thin covering of red-brown Goethite on a Quartz matrix. Further green Pseudomalachite veins the milky white Quartz veinstone. Some cavities in the Quartz also carry crystal accumulations of Pseudomalachite, with a later deposition of micro crystal druse of Quartz. A rich specimen of Pseudomalachite from the location.
