Pyromorphite

ID: CC2282

A superb specimen of Pyromorphite from the Friedrichssegen Mine, Bad Ems, Germany - an old mine which closed in 1913. The beauty of this specimen is the rich green colouration, as many specimens of Pyromorphite from this area are commonly brown. The specimen is composed of well formed slightly curved crystals measuring to 1.2cm, with that bright slightly greasy lustre. The terminations exhibit some hopper development and are often yellow tinged. A fantastic uncommon green Pyromorphite from the mine, which diplays beautifully.
