A first class specimen of Pyromorphite from the Friedrichssegem Mine, Bad Ems, Germany, a mine that has now been closed for 100 years. The Pyromorphite is seen richly aggregated over the Quartz matrix. The crystals of Pyromorphite measuring to 0.7cm, with curved prism faces towards the flat pinacoids. The Pyromorphite body colour is a lustrous slightly yellowish green with a band lighter green at the terminations. An excellent crystal specimen of Pyromorphite from this classic German location.
