A rare specimen from the Lubec Lead Mine, Maine, USA. Crystal clusters of lustrous prismatic light brown Pyromorphite measure to 1cm, with tapering habit, and lots of parallel growth on the prism faces. Crystals of Pyromorphite are formed on a matrix of metallic light yellow Pyrite and white Quartz. Specimens from this old short lived 1832 lead mine very seldom come on to the market.
