A white Baryte matrix is overgrown with blades of cockscomb Baryte crystals and then almost completely covered with acicular Pyromorphite crystals. From the world famous Les Farges Mine at Ussel in Limousin, France, the Pyromorphite ranges from mustard-leaf-green to a rich mustard-orange, with crystals between 2 and 5 mm.  There are small areas where the some of the Pyromorphite crystals are damaged, in that they have been broken at some stage in recovery.  Despite this, the specimen remains a great showpiece and example of this form and colour from Les Farges.
