Crystals of Pyromorphite are seen richly covering a Baryte matrix, from Chaillac, France. The Pyromorphite forms clusters and single crystals measuring to 0.5cm, many are double terminated, aggregated on two hemispheres of intergrown bladed Baryte crystals. Other areas of the display face of the specimen also have Pyromorphite crystals. Pyromorphite has a clove brown colour grading to light brown at the terminations with lustrous faces. A banded matrix of alternating Baryte-Fluorite and Pyrite, with a veinlet of an undefined light green mineral. A specimen from a seldom seen French location.
