A fine example of two sharp intergrown Quartz crystals from a location now permanently closed to collectors. The Rohdenhaus Quarry was opened to work Limestone beds for aggregate. The Limestone hosts a small number of Quartz veins, many with large crystal cavities. The specimen we have is particularly aesthetic and lustrous, displaying many gemmy areas which form pleasing visual windows into the internal structure of the crystals. A fine Quartz specimen from Germany.
