Quartz

ID: CC1563

A wonderful specimen of Quartz from the justly famed Quartz producing Brandberg area, Namibia. The specimen we have forms an aesthetic 'V' like combination of two gemmy lustrous well developed crystals to 5.7cm tall. The specimen is a great study piece depicting plates and thread-like inclusions of red Hematite. The Quartz crystals have a milky base rapidly passing into water clear with beautiful areas of purple Amethystine phantoms. The larger of the two crystals also has a zone of Smoky to Amethyst phantoms close to the termination. An excellent crystal specimen of Quartz.
