A particularly rich gemmy prismatic crystal specimen of Quartz from the famous French location of Saint-Pierre-de-Mésage. Colourless crystals of Quartz measuring to 4.8cm richly cover a rust-brown matrix of Goethite replaced Siderite crystals. Crystals of Quartz display a dominate pyramidal face giving the terminations a sloped back appearance. A fine specimen from the area.
