Probably one of the most recognisable mineral specimens from the South West Orefield. A specimen showing abundantly intergrown octahedral crystals of Fluorite measuring to 1.6cm completely replaced by Chalcedony Quartz, in the form of creamy white Epimorphs and Pseudomorphs. The original crystals of Fluorite had developed over a banded white to creamy light brown Chalcedony matrix. A Cornish classic from Wheal Mary Ann.
