A very unusual specimen of very flat, tabular crystals of very clear, lustrous Quartz growing in parallel accompanied with more equant hexagonal Quartz and a dusting of transparent, caramel coloured, rhombs of Dolomite to 2mm. A fascinating mode of formation to these crystals probably related to the tandem growth of Calcite and Quartz where the Calcite was dissolved out later by natural circulation of fluids - possibly aiding the formation of the later stage dolomite mineralisation.
