Quartz Epimorph After Fluorite

A sparkling specimen of druse Quartz forming cubic epimorphic casts after Fluorite crystals from the Boundary Cross Vein, Rampgill Mine. Nanthead, Cumbria. The interior of the cubic casts are lined with lustrous dark brown saddle habit crystals of Siderite, with scattered micro-crystals of black Sphalerite. Isolated areas of Siderite crystals have also formed on the top of the specimen.
