Specimens of Quartz epimorphs are now considered British classics from the Rampgill Mine, Nenthead, Cumbria. This specimen is a fine example from the mine, of white Quartz showing excellent impressions of the preexisting cubic Fluorite Crystals. Lustrous complex crystals of dark brown Sphalerite are clustered and dotted over both sides of the epimorphs. Tan to rich brown Siderite/Ankerite also covers most of the outside of the epimorph.
