Quartz on Goethite

ID: CC1001

A 1.9cm long doubly terminated Quartz crystal sits attractively on a sparkling druse of deep brown to black needle crystals of Goethite. The lustrous Quartz is well formed and water clear toward the double pyramid terminations, showing the included Goethite needles, with a misty central area in the body of the crystal. Accompaning are smaller Quartz crystals, also lustrous and doubly terminated, which appear black due to Goethite inclusions.
