A rare for the location 6cm crystal of Amethystine Quartz from the Copper Hill section of the Belstone Mine, Belstone, Devon. The specimen is a sceptre with part of a prism over grown by the terminated Amethyst. Very few of these specimens were ever found. This specimen is from the Nick Carruth collection via the Natural History Museum, London, and comes with two NHM labels.
