A curious specimen of Chalcedony from an old Clay quarry at Beautor, France, said to have been last worked in the 1970s. The specimen is a Geode thickly lined internally with bubbly botryoidal formations of Chalcedony. The Chalcedony has a satiny luster, with a translucent light tan colouration. The Geode has an thin outer rind of white coloured Chalcedony. A pleasing and sizeable specimen of Chalcedony from the location.
