A very rich specimen of crystalline Rhodochrosite from the old Hambach-Guckingen area in Germany. The Rhodochrosite forms a crystal druse with a botryoidal structure, 2 to 3mm thick, lining a shallow vug in a 'limonitic' matrix. The rich orange pink Rhodochrosite has a sparkling luster reflecting from the multi-orientated faces. A very rare and fine specimen from this old German locality, almost impossible to find on the market.
